Excellent cocktail. Similar to a Manhattan, but made exclusively with Scotch whisky instead of rye or bourbon. If you happen to have a bottle of Scotch (a blended is absolutely fine, you should definitely have a bottle of blended Scotch in your home bar!), vermouth and Angostura, fix one of these whenever you’re in the mood for a good cocktail. Whisky to vermouth ratio is usually 2:1, Angostura in dashes as usual, throw everything into a stirring glass, fill with plenty of ice, stir to dilute for 30″ to 1′, and serve in a cocktail glass (previously chilled).
